Participation in the SEC whistleblower award program has two primary benefits for whistleblowers.
First, by informing the SEC about corporate or securities frauds, SEC whistleblowers can help prevent or stop those frauds from occurring. In so doing, SEC whistleblowers can help save many more people from becoming victims of those frauds.
Second, if the SEC uses a whistleblower’s information to bring a successful action in which it collects over $1 million from the perpetrators, the whistleblower(s) may be eligible to receive a monetary SEC whistleblower award of between 10% – 30% of the amount of money that the SEC collects.
At The Pickholz Law Offices, we are proud of all of our clients for having the courage and integrity to take a stand against fraud. We consider it an honor that they have chosen us to be their SEC whistleblower law firm.
Below is an example of an SEC whistleblower award that we have won for a client:
- The first SEC whistleblower award ever granted on appeal. Inside Counsel Magazine named this first-of-its-kind result as one of the five milestones of the SEC whistleblower program. To see the award, click here.
